Zeta Test Management 5.2 documentation

Choose your starting point

• Understand product scope: compare Windows, web and MCP capabilities and deployment boundaries.

• Install the Windows client or a LAN deployment: choose the package, prepare deployment, update and troubleshoot.
• Work in the web application: understand core and preview areas and perform a browser-based test run.
• Install the web application: deploy the current .NET 10 application under IIS with HTTPS and controlled rollback.

Perform a test run in the web application

1. Review the available web core and preview areas.
2. Ask an administrator for the HTTPS address, project access and the required role.
3. Open the test-runs area, perform the assigned test cases and verify the recorded results.

Administer a project

1. Check the system requirements and release-specific support boundaries.
2. Choose the Windows or LAN deployment model, or prepare the IIS web deployment.
3. Configure users and permissions.
4. Configure project settings and application options.

Evaluate results and integrate systems

• Work with reports.
• Configure bug trackers, Jira REST and MCP.
• Check the current Windows, web, MCP and integration scope before planning a workflow outside the Windows client.
